University of Greenwich

One of the most reputed modern public university in the UK, Greenwich University is home to over 25,000 students from over 130 countries around the world. The history of the universe dates to Woolwich Polytechnic in 1891.After a series of mergers with other institutes, it attained the university status in 1992.

The university offers a range of multidisciplinary courses across its four faculties, namely, the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Business School, Faculty of Education and Health and Faculty of Engineering and Science.

University of Greenwich is based in London and Medway. The Greenwich campus is located at the iconic Old Royal Naval College. Located on the banks of the river Thames, it includes university's Greenwich Maritime Institute.

The 86-acre Avery Hill campus is also located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Located next to the Eltham park, the purpose-built green campus boasts of impressive sports facilities.

The historic Medway Campus in Kent is located on a former Royal Navy shore base known as called HMS Pembroke.

Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Degrees (Bachelors)

For entry to our four-year extended degree programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • A High School Certificate with a minimum of 50%
  • English language requirements

For standard entry to our Bachelor's programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • A High School Certificate with a minimum of 70%
  • English language requirements

Some Bachelor's degrees allow advanced entry to year 2 or year 3, depending on your study history.

For advanced entry to Year 2 you will need to complete:

  • Two years of a relevant degree with a minimum of 55%

For advanced entry to Year 3 you will need to complete:

  • Three years of a relevant degree with a minimum of 55%

Postgraduate Degrees (Master's):

For entry to our Master's programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • Four-year bachelor degree with a minimum of 2.5 for UK 2:2 or a minimum of 3.25 for UK 2:1
  • English language requirements

English Language Entry Requirements:

Pre-sessional English programmes are only available to students that have completed a UKVI IELTS.
