Our LLM in International Business Law is an innovative programme that offers you the opportunity to develop your analytical skills and expertise in the legal framework which governs international business transactions. Delivered by a specialist team of highly qualified academics and scholars, the design of the course is informed by a problem-solving approach to learning the legal rules which regulate a wide range of international business activities, from cross-border trade in goods and services to transnational carriage of goods, and international banking and finance.

The rapid pace of developments in technology calls for transnational legal responses in solving new and emerging problems affecting the regulatory framework for international business. This course incorporates a holistic approach to the study of contemporary international business law and practice, thus equipping you with the academic abilities and employability skills which are relevant for a successful career in the general world of global business.

Entry Requirements

  • An Honours degree (2:2 or above) in any subject.
  • Other experience or qualifications that demonstrate appropriate knowledge and skills at the graduate level may be acceptable. Suitability for acceptance onto the course will be assessed through interviews.
  • IELTS is 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent.
