The iPGCE is a global teacher education qualification for practitioners, with two or more years of teaching experience, who want to gain a recognised international qualification for teaching in early years, primary, secondary or equivalent educational context. This online course is designed to develop teaching skills and knowledge when working with a diverse student body. You will need to be teaching or supporting teaching in a formal education setting (voluntary or paid) throughout the duration of the course.

Studying the International PGCE will enable you to develop your professional competency, as a creative and inclusive educator, through critical reflection and research in a national and global context. This award is widely recognised as an international qualification for teaching excellence.

Once you complete the course, you can use 60 credits towards completing a part-time or a full-time Master’s in Education through our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.
