The School has a collaboration programme called 'Nurture' with Eden Smith data consultancy who help students on this course find MSc projects in industry.

How long is my placement?

The duration depends on the nature of the individual project, but can last around 2-4 months.

What are the financial arrangements?

Payment is not guaranteed for these placements, though each employer will have their own arrangements to offer which occasionally includes remuneration.

What sort of careers do graduates pursue?

Graduates from this Computer Science course are equipped for employment in industry, commerce or research with a proficiency in the key theoretical and practical areas of data science, including their application to modern artificial intelligence systems.

Are internships available?

You may be able to undertake a summer internship, offering a minimum of six weeks' full-time work.
