A dynamic and interdisciplinary course that examines power and (in)equality, justice, and conflict in a world shaped by economic, pandemic, and environmental crises.
We cover topics such as populism, leadership, diplomacy, race, gender, identity, and environmental activism.
Participate in staff-student-run projects to gain hands-on experience as political pundits, experts, fact-checkers, journalists, and researchers.
In a 4-week or 30-week placement, you can network with industry professionals and gain valuable experience for your CV.
Participate in a political community by attending regular events, film screenings, discussions, and debates organized and led by the BU Politics Society.
Foundation Year: For UK students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course, we offer a Foundation Year option. This extra year of study will provide you with a solid foundation in the media and communication skills required for this course, as well as boost your confidence, knowledge, and skills for further study. You will progress to the full degree after successfully completing the Foundation Year.
