The University of Law, originally known as The College of Law of England (Ulaw) and Wales. It is the largest law school in the United Kingdom. The institution offers law degrees, specialized legal training, and professional development courses for barristers and solicitors. The institution started its journey in 1876. The university is UK's first for-profit educational institution. The university has campuses in Birmingham, Bristol, Guildford, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, and Sheffield, as well as in Bloomsbury and Moorgate in London.

According to the 2014 National Student Survey, 92% of students were satisfied with the University of Law. With a 97% overall satisfaction rate, the university shared first place (with the University of Buckingham) in the 2016 National Student Survey. Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Programs

  • For Law Degrees with a Foundation Year, an IELTS score of 6.0 is required, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. Additionally, applicants should have a Standard XII Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum of 50% marks.

  • For the Accelerated LLB (Honors) Law program, an IELTS score of 7.0 is necessary, with a minimum of 6.5 in each component. The Standard XII Higher Secondary Certificate should have a minimum of 70% marks.

  • For Business Degrees, applicants should have an IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. The Standard XII Higher Secondary Certificate should have a minimum of 65% marks.

  • For the Policing and Criminology Degree Program, an IELTS score of 6.5 is required, with a minimum of 6.0 in each component. Similarly, applicants should have a Standard XII Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum of 70% marks.

Postgraduate Programs

  • F

    or MA Law Programs, applicants should have an IELTS score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in each component. A Bachelor's Degree with an overall average of at least 50% is required.

  • An IELTS score of 6.5 is necessary for LLM Programs, with a minimum of 6.0 in each component. Applicants should also hold a Bachelor's Degree with an overall aggregate of at least 50% marks.

  • Business Master's Degrees have an entry requirement of an IELTS score of 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. Additionally, applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree with an overall aggregate of at least 50% marks. A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in a management role is also required.

  • For MSc Degrees with Business Specializations, an IELTS score of 6.5 is required, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's Degree with an overall aggregate of at least 50% marks, specifically in a numerate field such as Accounting and Finance. A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in a management role is al

Applicants between 17 and 18 can apply to courses at selected University of Law campuses. Additionally, applicants must have successfully passed Mathematics as a subject in Standard XII for certain courses.
