Airport Pick-Up Service

Airport pick-up bookings are now being taken for our September intake students, the airport pick-up will take place on Wednesday, 16 September, from Manchester airport, available time slots are below:

Please advise students to allow 2 hours between their flight arrival time and our coach departure time so that they have time for passport control and luggage collection.

Payment - There is a charge of £45 per person for this service.

Undergraduate Courses:

International Year Zero: If a student's school qualification doesn't meet direct entry criteria, they can enter a 4-year International Incorporated Bachelor (IIB) program.

Direct Entry to 1st Year: Entry to 3 or 4-year programs requires qualifications equivalent to British A-levels or the International Baccalaureate. Specific qualifications accepted vary by country.

Direct Entry to 2nd Year: Transfer is possible if prior studies match Bangor University's first-year content. Official transcripts are required.

Mature Students with Experience: Professional experience (2+ years) is recognized for entry. Applicants must provide employer references and a detailed CV.

Postgraduate Courses:

Direct Entry: Postgraduate Master's programs require an equivalent undergraduate degree with a second-class honors grade. Accepted qualifications may differ by country.

International Incorporated Masters Degrees (IIM): If students don't qualify for School of Business master's degrees, they can consider IIM. Pre-master's is at BUIC.

Mature Students with Experience: Similar to undergrad programs, professional experience (2+ years) is recognized for entry.

English Language Entry Requirements

The university specifies the required IELTS scores for different courses and levels of study, along with equivalent scores from other acceptable English language tests.

The minimum IELTS score required for undergraduate programs is generally 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component). Some programs, like QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) courses, may require a higher score of 7.0. Postgraduate programs also typically require a minimum IELTS score of 6.0. Postgraduate research (PhD) programs generally require higher scores, often around 6.5 or 7.0. The university also recognizes other English language tests like:
