Course Details

The MSc International Hospitality and Tourism Management program focuses on applying theory and modeling tools to enhance innovation, creativity, problem-solving, and judgment skills in business hospitality, and tourism areas. The program includes taught modules such as Corporate Strategy and International Management, Finance and Accounting for Business, and International Organisational Branding. The modules cover key aspects of management, innovation, and the global visitor economy.
Optional modules include International Entrepreneurship, Globalisation and Contemporary Issues in International Business, and International Business Principles and Practice. These modules explore entrepreneurial processes, concepts, theoretical models, and the role culture plays in starting, developing, and managing a global venture. The program also examines trends in international business and the impact of these practices on the wider business environment.
Dissertation modules include Research Methods and Dissertation, which introduces students to analytical techniques, sampling approaches, and research ethics. If completing with Advanced Practice, students complete a 12-week internship. All business MSc programs offer an additional advanced practice module, providing increased credits through a 3-month internship in a company, providing future employability opportunities, and allowing students to apply their knowledge gained during the taught programs in real-life projects.
