PGCE iQTS Secondary Chemistry (11-16)

UWE Bristol offers PGCE Secondary Chemistry with International Qualified Teacher Status (iQTS) to develop teachers' skills in teaching chemistry to 11-16-year-olds in international schools. The iQTS is an online, internationally focused teaching qualification launched by the UK Government in 2022, allowing students to engage in English teacher training online in international schools. Successful completion of the iQTS qualification will automatically grant Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to teach in schools in England. • A standard equivalent to a GCSE grade C/4 in Mathematics.
• An undergraduate degree, or a recognised equivalent qualification. This is typically 2:2 or higher but we will look at all applications against the demands of the course.
