UWE Bristol offers a PGCE Primary with International Qualified Teacher Status (iQTS) program to develop skills in teaching five- to eleven-year-olds in international schools. This year-long course provides high-quality, evidence-based training, allowing students to study online and apply their learning in the classroom. The iQTS is an online, internationally focused teaching qualification launched by the UK Government in 2022, enabling English teacher training in international schools. Successful completion of the iQTS qualification will automatically grant Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by the Department for Education (DfE) in England. UWE Bristol is committed to training reflective and creative teachers for the future, partnering with schools and mentors.
