BA(Hons) Property Development and Planning will give you a solid understanding of the concepts and requirements of urban planning and sustainable development.

Study the legal system and economic forces and their impact on creating healthy, sustainable communities. Learn about property valuation, landlord and tenant law and building construction.

Learn computer-assisted design (CAD), drawing, modelling and mapping. Assess urban design on day trips and residential field trips. Collaborate with students across related disciplines in an approach reflecting industry.

Entry Requirements

  • Tariff points: 112
  • GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Literature or Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. We do not accept Level 2 Key Skills, Functional Skills or Certificate in Adult Numeracy and Literacy as alternatives to GCSEs.
  • English Language Requirement: International and EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component 
  • A-level subjects: No specific subjects required.

Course Details

If you study on the four year (sandwich) course, you'll spend a year away from the University on a work placement after year two.
