This course enables entry onto the International Masters Business Administration if you did not gain a first or second class honours at degree level (or equivalent). It will add to your existing skills and knowledge providing you with enhanced understanding and abilities which will prepare you for Masters courses.

The International MBA is an award developed to provide pre-experience applicants with a postgraduate general business qualification which will develop their skills and knowledge in the management of business at local, regional, national and international levels. This award will develop your knowledge of key business functions and their relationship with the wider strategic and international environment.  You will also expand your knowledge and understanding of the current changes in the business environment through the study of strategic management, stakeholder management and corporate social responsibility.

Entry Requirements

Academic Pathway: 

  • Successfully achieve a degree classification of a 3rd or above. 

Or  

  • A professional qualification of equal depth to a degree. Professional qualifications will be assessed on an individual basis.   

And 

  • A reference will also be required from an academic member of staff who has supervised your undergraduate studies, this would be requested after you have successfully applied. 

Work Experience Pathway: 

  • 3 – 5 five years of relevant managerial work experience, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the sector for the subject matter you are interested in pursuing.   

All work experience-based applicants will be required to provide a reference detailing your role(s) and responsibilities from your line manager this would be requested after you have successfully applied.
