The Environmental Management MSc program offers a flexible and broad approach to study environmental management, providing a solid foundation in environmental auditing, environmental tools, and policy. The course is accredited by IEMA and CIWEM, offering free student membership and a fast track to Practitioner Membership. It is available in full and part-time modes, with intakes in September and January. The program combines face-to-face teaching with online materials, allowing students to manage external commitments. The course is delivered as intensive two or three-day short courses, with students attending tutorials and completing assignments through the university's virtual learning environment.

Entry Requirements
- Minimum 2.2 degree in any subject required.
- Individual consideration for applicants with other qualifications and experience.
- IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent required for non-native English speakers.

Graduates from our Environmental Management MSc programs have worked in a variety of fields, including environmental consulting, the water supply industry, and government agencies such as the Environment Agency and the Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs. They have also completed doctoral studies and established jobs in research and education.
Course Details
The programme approach integrates blended learning, combining face-to-face teaching and tutorials with online learning materials, easy contact with tutors and online submission of assignments.
All modules are delivered as intensive two or three day short courses that run Fridays and Saturday or Thursday to Saturday.
Full-time students attend tutorials in the weeks following a short course, receiving face-to-face support.
Part-time students attend courses at the University for approximately 16 working days a year and complete assignments through use of our outstanding virtual learning environment. Most part time students complete this course within two years but you are given a maximum of five to complete.
Assessment can include reports, essays, seminars and online tests. Assignments are often directly related to environmental management in the workplace or field.
You have access to excellent University facilities including a field station, state-of-the-art Learning Resource Centre and a brand new Science Building.
