Entry Requirements

  • hold or be expected to gain a minimum 2:1 honors degree
  • have GCSE Grade C/4 in English Language and Maths.

  • IELTS: Overall 7.0 (no less than 5.5 in each band)

  • For those who do not have IELTS or an acceptable in-country English language qualification, the University of Chester has developed its own

     

    online English language test which applicants can take for

     

    just £50.

Group sessions on career planning are also provided within each course. Students and graduates can use these services free of charge for up to two years after graduation.

Course Details

The course offers a curriculum that includes modules on pedagogy, assessment, curriculum, specialist age phases, and wider professional issues. However, these modules are subject to change due to curriculum enhancements, staff changes, student numbers, technology improvements, placement changes, and regulatory requirements. The course aims to provide high-quality education and training, offering 120 days of school-based learning and enrichment opportunities.
