Entry Requirements

  • Applicants

     

    should normally possess

     

    an honours degree (minimum 2:1) in a biological/behavioural/ecological science (e.g., animal behaviour, conservation biology, zoology) including experimental design and statistical analysis components. 

  • 6.5 (Min 5.5 in each sub-skill)

  • For those who do not have IELTS or an acceptable in-country English language qualification, the University of Chester has developed its own

     

    online English language test which applicants can take for just £50.

Course Details

The course offers students an in-depth knowledge of Data Science, delivered over two terms. The MSc program covers an introduction to the subject, mathematical and statistical skills, and advanced machine learning techniques. Students will take modules in the societal context, industry, and entrepreneurial opportunities in the field. They will also have the opportunity to perform innovative research in the academic field with guidance from a supervisor. The course is designed for students from diverse academic backgrounds.
