 analysis skills. It equips you with techniques that help organizations plan data to prove their decision-making process, both financial and business. The degree is suitable for students' interested, ed in the growing 'big data' analytics careers. It also prepares you for careers that require financial modeling skills. With this degree you will play a critical role in bridging the technical expertise of 'hardcore' data engineers with the operational expertise of marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, risk, and other frontline managers. In this role, you help ensure that the deep insights generated through sophisticated analytics translate into impact at scale in an organization.

The Business Finance course at Chester Business School is designed to help students develop finance skills through practical application and real business experiences. Students will be exposed to key concepts in business finance ann areas such as leadership, marketing and people management, strategic management, and sustainable entrepreneurship. A five-week Work Based Learning placement towards the end of their second year is an amazing opportunity to learn more about the industry sector and network with potential future employers. The course is flexible so students can choose a three-year program or a four-year program which includes a one-year business placement. Chester has a growing business and finance sector and is home to some well-known finance businesses. The Business School has strong links with the business community and these links help students to find work-based placements and enhance the relevance of their degree.

In Year 1, you will explore the worlds of business and finance through real case studies and challenges. In Year 2, you will develop a knowledge of specific areas of the financial sector. In Year 3, you will use the knowledge gained in Year 2 to take a more strategic view of the sector.

In Year 2, you will develop a knowledge of specific areas of business and finance. You may also take our Work Based Learning module.
