BSC (HONS) BUSINESS ENTERPRISE AND INNOVATION MANAGEMENT (TOP-UP)

The UK ranks 4th in the Global Innovation Index 2021, emphasizing the importance of continuous innovation for maintaining a competitive advantage and a prosperous economy. Studying entrepreneurial and innovation is crucial for business and enterprise success, and gaining this knowledge can help develop innovative ventures independently or within existing organizations. Newcastle Business School, accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), offers flexible entry points at Level 5 and Level 6, depending on previous qualifications. Students can continue their studies with 'MSc Business with' masters programs specializing in Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Human Resource Management, International Management, Financial Management, or Marketing Management. The programme offers learning opportunities via an innovation-based consultancy project, project management, and analytics, and an applied research project focused on enterprise and innovation. Students will develop skills in design thinking, innovation, and building an innovative culture within organizations. Assessment will be through coursework, essays, reports, presentations, portfolio, and in-class tests.

Year Three (Level 6)	A HND/Foundation degree or equivalent.

Please note:

For Level 5 and Level 6 entry you must provide evidence of a Level 2 Maths or equivalent. Exemptions are granted if you can evidence of previous study in finance, accounting, statistics, data analysis or research modules at previous levels of study.

Non-standard route: Please note that applicants without formal qualifications yet with appropriate work experience are also encouraged to apply. Non-standard qualifications/work experience will need to be considered on an individual basis.

Graduates can progress into roles such as innovation consultant, manager, design engineer, and product designer. If passing with a 2:2 pass, they can continue their studies with postgraduate business degrees at the London Campus, specializing in Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, hospitality and tourism management, human resource management, international management, financial management, or marketing management. For those wanting to study in Newcastle, they can also progress to a Masters program.
