This programme introduces the key concepts of human resource and marketing management and the concept of strategic and contemporary management through the innovative module Business Environments and Functions. It will provide you with a broad context of knowledge and development of the essential skills required for industry.  You will then learn how to apply key theoretical themes in an end of year project.

The Foundation Year aims to build on your potential management and leadership skills throughout the curriculum. Through integrated project and research rich assignments, you will master essential skills and knowledge to support you throughout your academic journey and professional career.

Upon successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will be positioned to automatically progress onto level 4 study. Your progression course will then build upon the skills gained throughout the yearlong foundation course, preparing you for future employment.
