Entry Requirements

  • 120 UG credits at Level 4 for Year 2 entry or 240 UG credits for Year 3 entry. Credits in a HRM/ Business based degree/HND.
  • Applications from mature candidates without formal qualifications are welcomed provided they can demonstrate appropriate levels of relevant ability and experience

  • We'll accept T Levels for entry onto our undergraduate degree courses (including our extended courses with a foundation year) with standard application of science requirements and GCSE’s in line with UCAS tariff calculation.

  • IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all components).

Course Details

The BA Business Management (Human Resource Management) (Top-up) program aims to develop essential business skills and experience for success in a management career. Graduates must possess expert business knowledge, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and professional acumen to tackle challenges in a fast-paced business environment. The program includes two compulsory modules, Strategic Management and Leadership and Management Development, and one option from Service Encounter, Facilitating Creativity in Business, Managing Individual and Organization Change, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Students will also choose an internship or research project.
The program focuses on working effectively in teams, presenting and communicating business management ideas confidently, and developing specialist knowledge in stakeholder expectations, business environment, product and service design, production, distribution, business resources, and business processes. Optional modules are available at levels 5 and 6, but may not be offered on every course. Students will be asked to make their choice during the previous academic year, and if an optional module is not offered, they will be advised after the selection period or at the earliest time the program team decides not to run the module and help them choose an alternative module.
