Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor degree equivalent to UK 2:2 in any subject.
  • Required English language skills to undertake this programme: Academic IELTS 6.5 (with min score 5.5 in Listening and Reading, min 6.0 in Speaking and Writing) or equivalent.

Career Prospects

LSBU provides an Employability Service to help students prepare for a successful career. It includes an online board, Job Shop advisers, Careers Gym, Student Enterprise team, and Student Enterprise team. Placements are available in a sector relevant to the studies, supported by staff and the University's employability service. Successful students can build a career in a variety of settings in consulting, marketing, finance and human resource management. If unable to find a suitable placement, they can revert back to MSc International Business Management.

Course Details

The postgraduate student in the Business School is expected to spend an average of eight hours per week in self-managed learning to support the unit. This includes case study preparation, week-by-week reading in one of the core strategy set texts, assignment preparation and writing, as well as examination revision. To enhance academic and personal development, students will be allocated a personal tutor who will be available on a 1:1 basis as well as facilitating group personal tutoring sessions. Additionally, a personal tutor will be available 'on call' in a designated room for confidential 1:1 pastoral care meetings every day of the academic semester from 9am to 8pm.
