The MSc Digital Marketing Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University has been designed in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Institute and the needs of the digital industry. Entry Requirements

  • All students should hold a relevant first degree or equivalent, at least Lower Second class (2:2) or relevant experience, that will need to be evidenced and verified and for which references will be sought.
  • Students whose first language is not English will need to provide evidence of fluency to at least an IELTS 6.0 standard or equivalent

Course Details

The programme is comprised of three distinct stages, Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) Digital Marketing, Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) Digital Marketing, and MSc Digital Marketing Management, with a range of compulsory taught modules (120 credits), and a non-taught element (60 credits). The MSc will be awarded on successful completion of 180 credits.

Semester 1 (Certificate = Completing 60 credits):

Contemporary Trends in Digital Marketing (20)
Digital Content Creation and Copyrighting (20 credits)

Semester 2: (Diploma = Completion of stage 1 and an additional 60 credits):

Consumer Behaviour - Knowing your Digital Customer (20 credits)
Digital Analytics & Insights (20 credits)
Modern Marketing Research (20 credits)

Optional:
Marketing Internship (20 credits)
In Search of Creativity, Innovation & Difference (20 credits)

Semester 3: Masters = Completion of stages 1 & 2 and either:

Digital Dissertation (60 credits)
Marketing Plan in a Digital Context (40 credits)
