The Nursing & Midwifery Council's (NMC) provision for prior learning is used in conjunction with this Master's degree program to help candidates with first- or higher-level degrees obtain professional registration as nurses through a two-year postgraduate course. When prior learning in any subject satisfies course objectives and requirements, the NMC will recognize it; applicants must provide evidence of this in an entry portfolio.
This course assists you in developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to register and work as a registered adult nurse by fusing theory with practical experience.
You will complete focused Master's-level coursework to earn a postgraduate degree, with an emphasis on research abilities and leadership.

Course Details
In addition to three BSc degrees and the MSc Mental Health Nursing course, the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences Nursing Framework includes the MSc Adult Nursing course. In order to improve student learning and get you ready for practice, we have developed this course as a part of a coordinated suite of nursing courses.
Because of our approach to interprofessional education, students will participate in shared workshops, lectures, and learning events with peers taking health-related courses, including those on the BSc and other MSc nursing pathways, throughout the duration of the course. Nevertheless, as a Master's level adult nursing student, there will be portions of the course where you will be taught by faculty who have specific nursing experience in this area and you will be taught in groups with other adult nursing students, ensuring that your learning is tailored and specific to your chosen field of expertise. You will use adult nursing case studies to apply what you learn to adult nursing practice, and your placements and assessments will also be field-specific. At the Master's level, your academic tutor will concentrate on your unique development. A variety of staff members with expertise and knowledge pertinent to the units' content will be teaching you. Senior academic staff, licensed professionals, demonstrators, and technicians will all fall under this category. Regular industry-sponsored guest lectures will also be helpful to you.
