As a scriptwriter, develop the abilities needed to effectively collaborate across creative industries. While collaborating closely with other students within the Media Production framework, you will also hone your script editing skills. Create a final draft of your ideas that meets industry standards, find your own style, learn to offer constructive criticism, and network with people in the field to make job applications.
Work cooperatively with students from all over the framework to see your scripts come to life and contribute to others' productions.
You have the chance to work in teams during this demanding course in addition to producing individual writing assignments.
Obtain an industry-standard portfolio, write in a variety of formats and genres, and develop a strong attitude toward collaboration and development to become a writer with a distinct authorial voice.

Entry Requirements

  • A Bachelors Honours degree with 2:2 in any subject. 

  • If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in writing, speaking, listening and reading.

You can pursue pertinent positions in the film and television industries, such as director, script supervisor, script editor, scripted development, storyliner, reader, scriptwriter, script editor, and creative producer, with the knowledge and abilities you will acquire from this master's degree.
