Learning skills in editing, public relations and marketing, design, production, and budgeting will help you develop your creative writing in a variety of forms, with a focus on transmedia storytelling. Examine the societal and literary influences that have shaped the publishing and writing industries as well as your own work.

Flexible study 

You have the choice of taking the MA in Creative Writing and Publishing full- or part-time, on-campus or online. To delve deeper into important texts, ideas, and concepts, weekly small-group seminars are combined with lectures and online resources. If you are an online student, all of your classes will be held virtually. This will allow you to interact with a diverse group of classmates from around the globe as well as the most diverse range of literary, media, and business practices.


Entry Requirements

  • bachelor's Honours degree with 2:2 in any subject, or equivalent.

  • if English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.5 with a minimum of 6.5 in writing and 6.0 in speaking, listening and reading.

Career Prospects
