This emerging new field investigates how technology influences the behavior of individuals, groups, organizations, and societies. This includes education, entertainment, social media, and cyber security, among other things. Develop a thorough understanding of all aspects of psychology.
Learn a variety of research skills and methods for investigating traditional and online behavior, and then apply what you've learned in a variety of contexts, including your own independent research.
Utilize cutting-edge tools such as eye-tracking technology to better understand how people, groups, organizations, and societies interact with and use technology.
Work on projects with world-class researchers through the Research Apprenticeship Scheme – many of our students have published work with members of staff.

Foundation Year: For UK students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course, we offer a Foundation Year option. This extra year of study will provide you with a solid foundation in the scientific skills required to prepare you for the Cyberpsychology degree and boost your confidence, knowledge, and skills for further study. After completing the Foundation Year successfully, you will progress to the full degree and begin your Cyberpsychology studies.

Entry Requirements

  • 112-128 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM.

    48-72 UCAS tariff points.

  • If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the co

    mponents or equivalent. 

Career Prospects

Because it is fully accredited by the BPS, this degree will be widely recognized by employers.
It will prepare you for a variety of jobs such as cybersecurity, video game evaluation and implementation, online training, teaching, management consultancy, business, research, and administrative professionals, security and forensic, health promotion, and personnel work.
Because they all use technology to some extent, the degree will also serve as a foundation for postgraduate studies for professional or academic careers in Psychology (e.g. clinical, educational, occupational, sports, forensic and health psychology).
