One of the first courses available in the UK, it has been refined over three decades to provide you with the skills and knowledge of the tourism industry.
With an international focus, you'll study tourism management in a variety of global contexts, as well as case studies and examples from around the world.

Foundation Year: For UK students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course, we offer a Foundation Year option. This extra year of study will provide you with a solid foundation in the business and management skills required for this course and boost your confidence, knowledge, and skills for further study. You will progress to the full degree after successfully completing the Foundation Year.

Entry Requirements

  • 104 - 120 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM.

  • Foundation Year

    : 48-72 UCAS tariff points.

  • If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with a minimum

    5.5 in each component, or equivalent.

Career Prospects

The tourism industry is large and diverse, with numerous opportunities available in a variety of sectors. Within fifteen months of completing their course, 90% of our students are in work or further study, working towards a variety of positions in or related to sales and marketing, product planning, operations, ICT, distribution, human resources, event organization, and finance.
