BA (Hons) Television Production (with Foundation Year option)

If you want to make Netflix box sets, direct BBC news, live sports outside broadcasts, or award-winning music videos, this degree will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make your dreams a reality. From the start, you'll create content in the TV studio and on location, produce, direct, operate camera and sound equipment, vision mix, edit, present, arrange to light, and floor manage, among other things.
In our brand new, cutting-edge 4K studios and control rooms, you'll learn how to use cutting-edge technology. These are most likely the largest and best facilities available to students in the UK. You'll be taught by a group of seasoned academics and media professionals. We are producers, directors, filmmakers, and practitioners with experience in a variety of film and television productions such as drama, documentary, factual, children's television, entertainment, live broadcast, and more.

Foundation year: For UK students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course, we offer a foundation year. This extra year of study will provide you with a solid foundation in the media and communication skills required for this course and boost your confidence, knowledge, and skills for further study. You will progress to the full degree after successfully completing the foundation year.
