Foundation year: For UK students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course, we offer a foundation year. This extra year of study will provide you with a solid foundation in the business and management skills required for this course and boost your confidence, knowledge, and skills for further study. You will progress to the full degree after completing the foundation year.

Entry Requirements

  • 104 - 120 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM.

  • Foundation year:

     48-72 UCAS tariff points.

     

  • If English is not your first language, you will need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with a minim

    um of 5.5 in each component or equivalent.

Course Details

On this course you will be taught by a range of staff with relevant expertise and knowledge appropriate to the content of the unit. This will include senior academic staff, qualified professional practitioners, demonstrators, technicians and research students. 

You will also benefit from regular guest lectures from industry. Previous guest lectures have included the Director of Bournemouth International Air Festival, the Managing Director of Story Events and the Vice President and Legal Advisor for the National Outdoor Event Association (NOEA).
