What are the Academic Requirements of the UK universities from Nigeria?

Undergraduate

  • Students who hold WAEC/NECO-SSCE Grade A to Cs in five subjects including Maths (English minimum C).
  • Students who hold a Diploma from a Federal University with a minimum of lower credit.
  • Students who hold an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) with a minimum of lower credit

Top-up Programmes

  •  Students who hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) from a well-recognized Polytechnic in Nigeria with a minimum of lower credit.

What are the Scholarship and Financial support opportunities from Nigeria?

  • GREAT Scholarships are offered to students from 14 select countries, allowing them to study a wide range of one-year taught postgraduate programmes. The scholarship is offered through a partnership between the British government and participating universities. The fourteen countries eligible for GREAT Scholarships are China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and Mexico.
  • Chevening Scholarship is a prestigious UK government scholarship program that provides fully-funded scholarships to outstanding individuals with leadership potential. Nigerian students can apply for Chevening Scholarships to pursue a one-year master's degree program in the UK.
