What are the Scholarship and Financial support opportunities from Ghana?

  • GREAT Scholarships are offered to students from 14 select countries, allowing them to study a wide range of one-year taught postgraduate programmes. The scholarship is offered through a partnership between the British government and participating universities. The fourteen countries eligible for GREAT Scholarships are China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and Mexico.
  • Chevening Scholarship is a prestigious UK government scholarship program that provides fully-funded scholarships to outstanding individuals with leadership potential. Ghanaian students can apply for Chevening Scholarships to pursue a one-year master's degree program in the UK.
  • Ghana Scholarships Secretariat, under the Ministry of Education, provides scholarships for Ghanaians to pursue higher education both domestically and internationally. They occasionally offer scholarships for students to study in the UK.
  • Commonwealth Shared Scholarships offers scholarships for students from Commonwealth countries, including Ghana, to pursue postgraduate studies in the UK.
