BA (Hons) Hospitality Management with Revenue Analytics

Our BA (Hons) Hospitality Management with Revenue Analytics will help you to develop technical, supervisory and managerial abilities for a global hospitality sector. This course is industry-inspired, enabling you to benefit from a mixture of theory and practice that employers are seeking.  

You will develop solid business principles, alongside contemporary sector knowledge, and hands-on experience working in areas related to your field of study. This includes an understanding of revenue management and analytics, such as the strategic distribution and pricing tactics to boost revenue growth. If you would like a career that is based within the hospitality industry but with a link to the overall operations of revenue management and revenue analytics, this course is for you.

Entry Requirements


112 UCAS Points from

  • A LEVEL- Must include passes at A2 in at least two subjects.
  • BTEC- Extended Diploma or Diploma.
  • INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE- Diploma with 25 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level.

Other entry routes

Access to HE Diploma (QAA approved) with 60 credits overall and 45 credits at Level 3

English language requirements

Overall IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).
If you do not meet the academic English language requirements for your course, you may be eligible to enrol onto a pre-sessional English programme. The length of the course will depend on your current level of English and the requirements for your degree programme. We offer a 5-week and an 11-week pre-sessional course.

Alternative GCSE qualifications

Level 2 equivalences such as:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English / Maths,
  • Level 2 Key Skills in Communication / Application of Number and
  • Level 2 Adult Literacy / Adult Numeracy

Mature applicants and those with no formal qualifications

Career Prospects

There is a vast range of careers available to those qualified in the Hospitality, Events and Tourism sectors. These could include jobs such as; expert operatives, supervisors, junior managers, creative 'intrapreneurs' and start-up business entrepreneurs (niche services) have been defined for the hotel, meetings and events, banqueting and business tourism venues.

Entertainment in stadia, arena and theatre venues require similar supervisory, operational and junior management roles. We are connected to a number of trade and professional associations whose membership comprises employers and operatives from across the Hospitality sector. These include:

Course Details

The BA (Hons) Hospitality Management with Revenue Analytics develops the application of business skills pertinent to hospitality businesses.  It concentrates on structure which addresses the sector and its multi-faceted business components. This programme is designed for students who would like a career that is based within the hospitality industry but with a link to the overall operations of revenue management and revenue analytics. 

The programme is an exciting and innovative and facilitates understanding of all aspects required to evaluate the needs of the industry. Revenue management and analytics refers to the strategic distribution and pricing tactics you use to sell your property's perishable inventory to the right guests at the right time, to boost revenue growth. Other products such as your amenities and food and beverage offerings will also come into the picture. It revolves around measurement of what customers from different segments are willing to pay, and this can only be done by measuring and monitoring the supply and demand of your hotel rooms.

You'll learn to balance academic rigour with industry readiness, skills, knowledge and experience and develop the employability skills that have been identified by experts and industry.
