The course is available both full-time and part-time and will suit anyone, from recent graduates to those who have been working for some years. In addition to gaining academic skills and knowledge, MBA students have the opportunity to undertake a professional development programme designed to develop career plans, improve professional skills, and increase employability.

This course can be offered on a part-time basis. Whilst we would like to give you all the information about our part-time offering here, it is tailored for each course each year depending on the number of part-time applicants. Therefore, the part-time teaching arrangements vary. 

Entry Requirements

A second class honours degree (2:2) or equivalent.

Applications from candidates with relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis. Work experience is desirable but not essential.

English as a Foreign Language: an IELTS of 6.5 overall is required for this course.

Course Details

This MBA in Global Business could be your ticket to a high-flying career in business leadership within an international context. Besides deepening your existing awareness of the theory and practice of business, you’ll have the opportunity to develop essential lifelong skills including critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, data analysis, effective communication, leadership, and change management. These should serve you in any business discipline and at every stage of your career.

This course takes a very practical approach to learning, so you’ll have significant exposure to business techniques and their application in industry. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet with, hear from and undertake projects for real employers; to undertake collaborative leadership projects; and to work effectively as part of a cross-cultural team. 

You’ll study 8 mandatory modules and your choice of 8 optional modules, including a special project in your final term. You can tailor your studies to your future career ambitions by exploring these subjects from the perspective of a start-up, an SME or a large sector-leading enterprise. Whatever you choose, you’ll advance your skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, data analysis, effective communication, leadership and management. All modules are mandatory, unless otherwise mentioned.
